Stage 1 Wildfire Restrictions in The Northwest Zone will begin at 12:01 a.m. on July 29, 2023.
Flathead County Commissioners approved Resolution No. 2593, making it illegal to have campfires in Flathead, Sanders, and Lincoln Counties, and on DNRC (Department of Natural Resources and Conservation) and US Forest Service lands.
With the continued predicted hot and dry weather, as well as the dry fuels, we all need to do our part to help prevent human caused fires.
