Fire Restrictions

Stage I Fire Restrictions will take effect on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 12:01 AM local time, applying to all private lands within Flathead County. This primarily means no campfires in Flathead County. Municipalities are exempt from this resolution, as cities dictate their own fire regulations.
Despite recent rain showers, Flathead County remains exceptionally dry and is facing another heat streak. For everyone's safety, please adhere to these restrictions diligently.
