Permit Debris Burning October 1st -June 30th.

Permit debris burning started on October 1st. Burning permits are required year-round in Flathead County for all debris burning. Permits can be obtained online at https://app.egovmt.com/burnpermit/ and must be activated prior to burning each day. You will not be able to activate your permit if air quality or fire danger conditions are not favorable. If you have additional questions, you can call the Flathead County Health Department at 406-751-8130, DNRC Office at 406-751-2241, or Smith Valley Fire at 406-752-3548.
