No Burning is Currently Allowed.
Burn season is closed July 1st through September 30th.
Open burning will open back up October 1st conditions allowing.
Recreational camp fires measuring less than 48" in diameter are allowed year round when no fire restrictions are in place
Campfires must be constructed in an area free of flammable materials and overhanging branches.
Do not allow your campfire to spread beyond the established ring, pit, grate, or container.
Have sufficient water and tools on site to extinguish your fire.
Never leave a campfire unattended and make sure it is DEAD OUT before vacating the area.
REMEMBER ESCAPED AND ILLEGAL DEBRIS BURNS ARE THE #1 CAUSE OF WILDLAND FIRES IN THE KALISPELL AREA!
