No Burning is Allowed at This Time

No Burning is Currently Allowed.

• Burn season is closed December 1st through March 1st. 

• Open burning will open back up March 1st conditions allowing. 

• Recreational camp fires measuring less than 48" in diameter are allowed year round when no fire restrictions are in place

• Campfires must be constructed in an area free of flammable materials and overhanging branches.

• Do not allow your campfire to spread beyond the established ring, pit, grate, or container.

• Have sufficient water and tools on site to extinguish your fire.

• Never leave a campfire unattended and make sure it is DEAD OUT before vacating the area.

REMEMBER ESCAPED AND ILLEGAL DEBRIS BURNS ARE THE #1 CAUSE OF WILDLAND FIRES IN THE KALISPELL AREA!
